The servers are still up.
Five games from the years when you met people in a server list instead of a lobby. The stats have been counted since day one, and once a year we meet for real.

The gang
It started on a server called Universal something. The name is gone, the people are not. That is where Buraz and Marduk turned up, and with them the rest of GKBears, who after a while invited us over to their own server instead.
That is where I installed TeamSpeak without knowing my webcam had a built-in microphone. Which means the others heard every single swear word I produced each time somebody shot me, long before I worked out that they could.
Hamburger Hill came a bit later. We were a mix from across Europe and Israel, most of us without a clan, and nobody played for anything other than the fun of it. That is the server that stuck.
The group has held together since. We have met up a few times for real, and some still play when there is time. The servers are up for their sake.

Retrothon 2026
One weekend, five games, one result
The tournament runs across all five servers over the same weekend. Points are combined across games — being best at one game does not win it. Being least bad at all five does.
Registration opens three months out. We post it here and in the servers.
